This Billing & Refund Policy explains how paid memberships and purchases on carrington.cool (the "Service") are billed and refunded. It is part of our Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Carrington Creative Studios, LLC.
Payments
Carrington Creative Studios, LLC is the seller of record for memberships purchased on carrington.cool. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), our payment processor. We do not store your full card number; card data is handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.
Pricing, currency, and tax
Prices are listed in US dollars and shown before checkout. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT, or GST, the applicable tax is calculated and added at checkout, and the total including tax is shown before you confirm payment.
Billing and renewals
Before you subscribe, checkout shows the plan, price, billing interval, renewal date, taxes, and trial terms if any. Paid memberships renew automatically at the displayed interval and then-current price until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize Carrington Creative Studios, LLC to charge your payment method through Stripe on each renewal date unless you cancel before that date. You will receive receipts by email.
Free trials
If a free trial is offered, checkout will disclose the trial length, the date and amount of the first charge, and how to cancel before being charged. The trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account page on carrington.cool (the "Account" link in the header) or by emailing hello@carrington.cool. If you subscribed online, you can cancel online without calling. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, your paid access continues until then, and no further renewal charges will be made.
Refunds
If you contact hello@carrington.cool within 14 days after your first paid charge or a renewal charge, we will issue a refund through Stripe to your original payment method, unless we determine the request involves fraud, abuse, or prior refund misuse. We do not provide prorated refunds after cancellation unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout. Consumers in some regions (such as the EU and UK) may have additional statutory refund or withdrawal rights, which this policy does not limit.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If payment cannot be collected, your paid access may be paused or downgraded to free until payment succeeds.
Price changes
We may change membership prices. We will give notice of changes to recurring prices before they take effect, and changes apply to the next billing period. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. We may suspend access only if we reasonably believe a chargeback involves fraud, abuse, or non-payment for active paid access.
